ABOUT KATE


Kate Howell is a Certified Yoga Therapist - CIAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapy), an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher - ERYT (Yoga Alliance) and the Director and Founder of Sweet Fire Yoga Arts & Healing, LLC.

Kate’s approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and influenced by the classical yoga teachings of the KYM (Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram) and Polyvagal Theory developed by Dr. Stephen Porges. Her teaching is focused on nervous system regulation, with an emphasis on conscious breathing and the mind-body connection.

She lives in Glassboro, NJ with her husband and two kids.
